The majority of your problems and lack of joy are caused by
stressful situations. By stressful situations,
I speak of feelings of concern, apprehension, anguish, malaise or
presentiment that you create with your mind concerning past,
present or future happening. To control your thoughts and
feeling you should consider using meditation on a daily basis.
You need to constantly remind yourself that situations, either
bad or beneficial, have no power over you. You give power to
these situations by the way you respond to them. Meditation
will assist you in relaxing your mind and getting a hold on
these stressful thoughts that are robbing you from your health
and happiness.
You will never be able to eradicate stressful situations
entirely from your life, but you can do away with most of the
negative happening that you have created with your mental
imagery. Your world is a reflection of your own anticipations.
Your future is determined by how your respond to the present
moment. By making meditation part of your daily routine you
will be able to better control your mental imagery, and trust
that every happening will turn out to be in your best
interest.
Practicing meditation is the biggest present you can give to
yourself. It will help you regain control of your thoughts,and
keep under check these fearful and stressful situations
that are afflicting your life.
Before your begin to meditate you must relax your mind and let
go of all concerns and worries. To help you relax your mind
begin by focusing on your breath. Spend at least three to five
minutes taking deep breath in slowly, and exhaling slowly,
until you regain control of your thoughts. This is a must if
you want to benefit from your meditation time.
Remember that your mental imagery is under your control, as
well as, every situation in your life. During your meditation
you are able to convert a stressful situation into a more
healthful and happy situation by focusing on the desired
outcome. Instead of meditating on the negative stuffs that
occurred during your day that disturbed your peace of mind,
meditate on the good stuffs.
Meditation can assist you to uncluttered your mind, lower your
blood pressure, relax your internal organs and allow you to
benefit from a restful sleep. Meditation is good for you, it
will help you cope with stressful situations,
live a less nerve-racking life and also feel rested and better about
yourself and your life when you wake up every day.
