Lots of people look for an entire lifetime for the answer to joy and happiness. They may seek and seek yet don’t ever truly discover exactly what they believe they are looking for. More often than not, they’re making things more complicated than they need to be, and they’re missing out on the self evident. The real key to becoming seriously happy isn’t in the things we possess or the place we go in life, it is actually related to people that surround us as well as the simple pleasures that every day brings. If you’re silently suffering through the feeling that little or nothing could make you happy, you might have to change your current thinking. When you do, you will get the joy and happiness which has evaded you up to now.
Many believe that the real key to joy and happiness is actually money. There’s a saying that says that money can’t buy you happiness. There is a lot of truth to this saying, despite the fact that someone who has consistently struggled with lack of money will disagree with that thinking. Money is without question a must,we all need money to pay or bills, eat and have a good time, but it’s not necessarily the main cause of happiness. While acknowledging that,I must also acknowledge that you will find many gratification, joy, peace of mind and freedom when you have money. The key to happiness in terms of money might be what you choose to do with it. Assuming you have plenty, and you make use of it to enrich the lives of other people, you will experience some happiness and satisfaction in giving.
Some believe that happiness is something that you can buy. Some spend large amounts of money on trips or expensive collections only to find that they are still feeling empty. These things can bring some joy and satisfaction to someone, but they are not going to be the key to your happiness. If you find that these are things you want to do, don’t rely on them to make your life complete. Enjoy them when you are experiencing them, but don’t rely on them for everything. Think of them as a small part of happiness, but not what is going to make your soul feel complete.
Another small part to the key to happiness for some is finding that right person. If you feel lonely and unhappy, you may think that finding someone to love will make everything okay. In a way, someone else can help you feel more joy in life, but they can never be your only source of happiness. This is something you should have before you meet someone, as no one can complete you, even though the movies may tell you otherwise. Perhaps you can find that happiness with each other, but must has to come from inside of you. A relationship will not cure your empty feeling at all.
So what’s the key to happiness? It will be different for everyone. However, you can actually put the pieces together and find what allows you to feel as if your life is full and satisfying. This feeling often accompanies meaningful interactions with family, friends, spouse or significant other, and children. It also comes from experiencing and enjoying the small things and small pleasures that comprise each day. Even the darkest days contain some measure of happiness and contentment if you look closely. You can’t always be happy, but learning to feel blessed with what you have each day can significantly help towards making your life much brighter and fuller.
